Humane Society Donations Needed The Beltrami Humane Society needs your donations to help care for the animals that come to the shelter. They are in need of cleaning supplies, food, office supplies, monetary donations - and volunteers. If you would like to help - contact the Beltrami Humane Society at 751-7910 or visit www.beltramihumane.com. Science Center Welcomes You The Headwaters Science Center at 413 Beltrami Avenue is Bemidji gives visitors a chance to see science at work in a hands-on environment. Attractions include a live animal collection and a gift shop with science related items. Demonstrations and experiments are held for the young and the young at heart. Hours are Monday through Saturday from 930am to 530pm and Sunday from 1-5pm. Memberships cost $35 for an individual and $60 for a family. The exhibit entry fees are $3 for children 12 and younger and $5 for adults and children older than 12 with a maximum of $25 per household.
